Apparently Ricky witnessed the murder of his brother Kejuan, on tuesday. This is his second brother that has been killed in the past two months. Thoughts and Prayers go out to the Thenarse family!

Very sad to hear..

I lost my Dad and my big Brother two months apart. My Brother after we spent Labor Day Weekend together right after my 1st week at UNL.

 

I hope he can take comfort in a supportive Husker family.

I'm sad to see Ricky suffer through this, but at the same time is anyone really surprised it happened? It's a cold hearted thing to say, but living the life of a gang member has these consequences.

Does anyone know anymore info. on this? Its sad to see this happen let alone once but twice in such a short amount of time. Hopefully this is a reality hit to Ricky for him to stay on the right path.

This really sucks for Rickey, but like someone said before it's not at all surprising... I mean Rickey was barely able to make it out of Watts without getting killed before he signed to come here because it meant he was leaving his gang.

 

It's sad living here in Nebraska we don't really realize how serious the gang scene is in places like LA. Regardless this might be rough on Rickey, but I'm sure he used to it the way he grew up and will be able to use this to motivate him.

 

Rickey will be the star of our defense this year I really think so hopefully he can stay focused and just do what hes best at. BLOWIN PEOPLE UP!

South Omaha has some of the same gang members from MS X13 and 18th St who are also all over California and the rest of the country for that matter. They are known to be one of the most dangerous gangs.

MS 13's are starting to make their way into Des Moines along with SUR 13's. They are only dangerous when you get them together. Apart they are nothing, but a bunch of sissys! I've dealt with them many times while working in the jail division.
