Red Storm Brewing
Wasn't that performance against PJ Smith's old high school John Curtis out of Loiusiana. I believe they are(were) a Top 25 National Ranking. Quote Link to comment
Ohio Pete
Wasn't that performance against PJ Smith's old high school John Curtis out of Loiusiana. I believe they are(were) a Top 25 National Ranking. Yep were 23rd, now 46. Of course they may have had a few other things on their mind. Â Here's another article on the game: Nebraska commit Dontrayveous Robinson lead the Trojans ground attack with 11 carrries for 53 yards and two touchdowns. Robinson's 19-yard touchdown scamper in the game's closing minute sealed the Trinity victory. More Quote Link to comment

Ohio Pete
Injured again? 1. Trinity (Euless, Texas) Record: 3-0 Points: 250, five first-place votes Previous rank: 1 Â The Trojans showed the mettle expected of a top-ranked team in their 24-14 dispatching of regionally ranked Allen, even though Nebraska-bound RB Dontrayevous Robinson was out with an injury. Sophomore Tevin Williams (5-foot-11, 175 pounds) stepped up in place of Robinson, rushing 30 times for 179 yards and two scores to key the win. Williams' 5-yard run opened the scoring in the first quarter, and his 2-yard TD run on a key fourth down put the Trojans up 17-7 heading into the half. The Trinity defense did the rest from there, slowing down Allen's high-flying attack and intercepting standout junior quarterback Matt Brown twice. Keller (3-0) will play the nation's No. 1 on Friday. Quote Link to comment

Ohio Pete
Any idea what kind of injury he sustained? Apparently just something minor: http://www.star-telegram.com/358/story/922190.html Robinson was injured during Trinity’s win last week over Cedar Hill, but Lineweaver said it was minor. "He’ll be ready next week," Lineweaver said. "If it was a district game, he would have played." Quote Link to comment

shagg
wouldn't surprise me if he becomes a LB. not so fast for a RB but will be plenty fast as an LB. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
^ Â Pretty sure we are recruiting him to fill Q's role as the 'big back' or 'short yardage back' for the future. Quote Link to comment
teamster
Haven't heard anything of Robinson in recent weeks, except he may not qualify academically. Any reports on game performance or grades? Quote Link to comment
