Although a lot is said for all the young guys that saw the field this year, it helps not hurts, add a little more talent and they could surprise! Not saying contend but surprise. BIGREDIOWAN
My prediction for next season goes like this for the North 1. Missouri 2. Nebraska 3. Colorado 4. Kansas 5. Kansas State 6. Iowa State If we have a QB take charge of this team next season we will be another 8-4 team or better IMO. Quote Link to comment

I'll give this a shot... 1. Kansas - Reesing gives the edge to KU 2. Nebraska - QB play will determine where we are at 3. Missouri - Too much talent leaving, but will still be strong 4. Iowa State - They have to win sooner or later 5. Colorado - Just because i don't like them 6. KSUcks - They are a mess Just my 0.02 Quote Link to comment

Colorado will be better than Kansas next season because I think Reesing is the only thing keeping that team up there right now and Colorado is very young right now and has alot of injuries. The line already leaves a lot to be desired because of injuries this year. Graduation ain't gonna make it any better... You'll be in the mix...just not at the top of it. That spot is reserved for the mighty Cyclones Quote Link to comment

Kansas should be favored going into next season. I think KU may very well be favored by the prognosticators going into next year. I don't fully buy it though. I think the race will be a very interesting one between KU, MU, and NU. MU and NU have to break in new QB's and that is why the early prediction nod will go to KU, Reesing is a stud. However I think that NU looks to be better all across the board next year. MU looks like they might have the beginnings of being able to simply reload and not rebuild, I have said before that next year will really do more to tell us how good of a job Pinkle is really doing there. I don't think KU and MU fans fully appreciate the level of talent increase NU will have next year, I give the edge to NU but I am a homer and I do love the Koolaid!!! Quote Link to comment
clone
1. Kansas - Reesing gives the edge to KU 2. Missouri - Too much talent leaving, but will still be strong 3. Nebraska - Losing some quality starters- mainly GANZ 4. Colorado - better than the rest 5. Iowa State - They will suck again 6. KSUcks - They are a mess North still won't be competitive with OU, Texas, TT and OKST Just guesses. Quote Link to comment

The North will duke it out again next year, only to be dominated by the South and their superior athletes. I still think the Big 12 should forget about North/South Division and just have one big conference. This would allow Nebraska to rekindle its rivalry with Oklahoma (although, at this stage I don't know why we would want to try)... More importantly though, it would allow the actual two best teams in the conference to play. It looks like Missouri will face off against a south team for the Big 12 Championship this year. Sorry folks, but Missouri is far from the second best team in the conference. Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas Tech are all ahead of them. I just feel that if you're crowning the champion of something - in this case the Big 12 - that the final game to decide "who is the best" should be between the two teams with the best record (i.e., the two best teams). Just my opinion though. Quote Link to comment
