HANC
F#$%....... Dillard is officially ruled out of the game, along with Glenn...... Our LB corps is in dire straights this weekend. Now I am officially concerned.... It will be Blake Lawrence, Tyler Wortman, and who...... Holt-Washington....help me out here F#$%........ Murtha is listed as very doubtful for this weekend. WTF I wish we could stay healthy and out of trouble to finish this thing off. Please, someone take away my uneasy feeling about this game !!!!! Quote Link to comment
redout22
Uh-oh that doesnt sound good at all. At least nebraska isnt playing kansas this week instead of last week. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
really don't think it will matter much. We did ok last week without Murtha and KSU has absolutely no pass rush. We played Texas Tech with the same linebacker issue and though we didn't do well defensively, we didn't have to. KSU has NO defense. We should hold the ball for 40 minutes in this game. Plus our front four has vastly improved throughout the season and we should get ample pressure on Freeman. We will miss Cody's quickness if Freeman gets to a corner and tries to run, but Wortman has been steadily improving and isn't all that slow either. If Dillard and Murtha aren't back for the CU game I'll be a bit worried. not so much this week. Quote Link to comment
HANC
okay....thanks...just needed someone to re-assure me. They should be fine with the bye week in the schedule. Quote Link to comment

missouri_husker24
Not many know this but Matt Holt had surgery today for a torn labrum and is out for the season... I went to High School with Matt and talked to his dad on Tuesday. And unless Matt, his brother Andrew, and his Dad are lying to me, then he had surgery today and is done for the year. kstatehater
I predict a lot of Dime and Dollar packages, which is ok..... Against Kansas State. We NEED dillard back by CU or they will run all over us...(we would still win though)... Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Sucks about Holt. Lawrence will have to step up big time. Quote Link to comment
missouri_husker24
Sucks about Holt. Lawrence will have to step up big time. I have faith in Lawrence. I think he's done a good job against the run this year when his been in the game. Quote Link to comment
HANC
Is Washington going to play? Any chance of moving Culbert up to a LB spot like in past years. I know it is a different staff and scheme, but he did a very solid job when he played there. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
I bet some of the younger kids step up this weekend, I am not so worried about it. This is a good game to have something like this, that way some of the kids that don't have the experience can get in there and knock some heads, too. It WILL BE alright. Quote Link to comment
Vince from ShamWOW
What is Murtha's injury this week? Quote Link to comment
JGS30
I wouldn't worry much about your injuries. Now, if Prince and the Mildcats are scratched at the last moment, and the Longhorns come to town to take their place, then worry! Otherwise, don't worry. KSU is comparable to a bunch of 5th grade girls riding the "Short Bus". It wouldn't surprise me if NU was up by 4 TD's at halftime. Quote Link to comment
