SkullandBones
my thoughts are 8-4 Right on. Welcome DC. Ahhh...the mid 90s all over again...A laugher in Manhattan... the BLACKSHIRTS doing what BLACKSHIRTS do... the Husker O putting up 5 or 6 hundred yards... practice squad guys playing out the fourth...absolutely awesome. Husker_x
They will beg for death before the end. We're going to put a dress on Colorado and enter them in the Miss America pageant. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Seriously? That's some serious range for a laser pointer. Quote Link to comment
topekahusker
Welcome DC! Didn't CU lose their stud little Darren Sproles lookalike named Stewart to injury the rest of the season? I haven't seen them much this season but have the game on now...surprised at the close score. Looking forward to see how the services and this board breaks down the game this week. GBR! IlliniHusker
The CU game might be closer than expected because the Buffs will need a win over NU to become bowl elgible (assuming they lose to Okie State tonight). IMO that Bo Pelini will have the team fired up enough to overcome this CU incentive. Bo has been pushing for a strong finish for months. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Welcome to the board DC, I really think that CU is in for a long day with us. However, they always play us tough so anything is possible and they have something to play for that day. Bowl eligibility and don't think they aren't going to play their a$$es off to get it. Their offensive line is not good, their QB is not good, and their 3rd string running back is okay. Their defense has problems in the secondary and defensive line from what I watched tonight, but their LB play is okay. To me it sounds like a big day for our offense, but we'll just have to wait and see. Quote Link to comment
BeachBuffs
Unless Benny Hinn shows up and heals the 20% of our roster that is injured it will be a long day for us. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfromIL
They really are classless.....I'll never forget when they had to remove a student SECTION, before they would get back to playin'. It is the one place I will not go to watch Nebraska......I am glad there are those that brave the sCUm elements though to support our Big Red! Quote Link to comment
trouble
Won't be much of a game IMO. 8-4 here we come. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
I think our much improved Defensive Line will be too much for the Buffs Offense. I think Ganz will have a HUGE day with the weak secondary of sCUm. I don't think any of us have to worry about Bo not having this team ready to face Colorado. I think we will win by ATLEAST 21 points! Quote Link to comment
zE bOp
2 wurdz: BIG RED BLOWOUT! Oh, that waz 3 wurdz... Quote Link to comment
clone
although I predicted a CU win (only because it WASN'T hawkins first hc year), I think it'll be yet another-- BLOWOUT BABY!! just like ksu. BEAT CU!! Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
Assuming the same Husker team shows up, and right now there's really no reason to think they won't, we'll beat Colorado handily. I think three touchdowns is a good guess. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
The laser pointer incident last night shows just how little class CU fans have and the lack of respect for the game overall. If there's one thing I've learned it's this: never count out CU for the annual NU/CU post-Thanksgiving Day game. I think CU digs a little deeper for that one, no matter how bad their team is.
