arenateam
Updated list on the best CFB coaches. Maybe coach will be on there next year? Link Quote Link to comment
trouble
I think that guy is on crack. Quote Link to comment
default_28
I respectfully disagree with a lot of that list but the top five are hard to argue with. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJosh82
i have to disagree with him, not because Bo wasn't on his list. Quote Link to comment
huzkerbob
Gary Patterson is underrated on this list. And probably Leach too. Both are behind Tedford and Erickson, who haven't won many big games for their schools yet. As long as Charlie Wies isn't on it, it can't be that far off! Quote Link to comment

Wonder where he had Rich Rod before the 3-9 season? Top 5 probably. Quote Link to comment
redout22
I can't believe Whittingham is that low Quote Link to comment
Eric
Dennis Erickson laid an egg this year. Wasn't ASU suppose to compete with USC for the pac 10 title? They were 5-7, which includes wins over Washington st and Washington. So really they were more like 3-7! Quote Link to comment
SkullandBones
A complete joke. "We begin our countdown of the Top 25 current coaches in college football with Butch Davis at #25. We listed these coach’s accomplishments of the last 5 seasons. Butch Davis – North Carolina - Record in last 5 years: 12-12 with North Carolina" Somewhat less impressive than 9-4 in ONE year. HuskerTrucker
He probably had a deadline to fill...had to come up with something while sitting on the toilet...and this is what you got. And they paid him for that?? Yeah, right.... Quote Link to comment
huKSer
Five of the best coaches come from the juggernaut Pac 12. REALLY Quote Link to comment
huskerswrkhavoc
Erikson being on there is a meh for me... same w/ Tedford... I think that Miles and Tressel are a little too high on the list, but they should be on there.. I think that Beamer is also underrated... i'd pry put him at #4 behind Meyer, Stoops, and Carroll.. jmo. but really can't put Bo on there after one year.. although it was a good one, he'll get respect as respect is earned. husker98
yea you could do alot of flip floping around on that list i don't agree with Erickson being on there or Spurrier despite both are good coaches there past 5 years are mediocre at best. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
Houston Nutt made the list? The guy is a tool. I guess it all depends on how much of one's career you want to consider. Butch Davis should be much higher if you take what he did at Miami bringing them back from the death Jimmy and Dennis left them in after all the NCAA violations. I'm not a Pickle fan, but he's done more in the past 5 years or however long they're looking at than a lot on the list. Rich Rod deserved to be on the list until this year came along. Michigan had way more talent than their 3-9 record. A good coach plays with what he has rather than jamming a square peg in a round hole. At least they didn't have overpaid Ferentz on the list.
