OwlFamily
http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation/post/_/i...opening-weekend 8. Florida Atlantic at No. 24 Nebraska: Nebraska should be worried about this game. Florida Atlantic has one of the best offenses in the country led by quarterback Rusty Smith, who is considered a strong NFL prospect. The question will be the FAU defense, which struggled to get into the backfield last season. Ill take any love we can get! Quote Link to comment

T_O_Bull
A belated welcome to HuskerBoard Owl. You'll find us a fun bunch except on game day, when we go Cornhusker Crazy. T_O_B Quote Link to comment

Huskerballz
Will NFL prospect Rusty Smith be able to throw on his back all game? Quote Link to comment
OwlFamily
Its THE game of the week to watch for me NO doubt! I hope we do a good job and the offense performs as expected. My prediciton is: Neb 41 FAU 21 I think we keep it close 1st half, (something like 21-14) but you guys have the depth that will carry you thru the 4th quarter. GO OWLS! Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
That's more or less what I think, too. It'll be a closer game than some on our side would like for a while, and FAU will hang 17-21 on us, but we'll get our ducks owls in a row as the game goes on. Quote Link to comment
Scarlet Overkill
There are some intriguing games on that list, but a little puzzled by the Navy @ OSU one being listed. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Chase Holbrook was also a highly productive, strong NFL prospect, wasn't he? Quote Link to comment
skersfan
Starter for starter pretty close I would guess. They have talent and speed. Depth will be the undoing. Close until the middle of the 3rd quarter, may even be down at the beginning. I will be missing pretty much every game this weekend. Headed to a competition/event in New Mexico. Long drive, so I will be listening on the Satellite radio. Quote Link to comment
Vuren
Chase Holbrook was also a highly productive, strong NFL prospect, wasn't he? and hal mumme didn't even let him play the normal game plan. mumme gave that game up after the first drive. Quote Link to comment
Overland Park Husker
There are some intriguing games on that list, but a little puzzled by the Navy @ OSU one being listed. Probably because OSU hasn't played a service academy at home since the 1930's. Plus, from what I've heard, OSU is rolling out the welcome wagon, as they should. Quote Link to comment
