carlfense
This is a quote from http://www.techsideline.com "But Pelini said after Monday's practice that the crowd noise is "not something that affects us very much." He said the Huskers would work with a crowd-noise simulator later in the week. Pelini said it doesn't matter whether the Huskers are playing at home or on the road. He says, "The fans aren't playing. It's 11 on 11. It's between the lines, and you have to execute." Well well well, I guess will have to introduce Mr. Pelini to a Lane Stadium crowd!!!!" --- Really? There are about 100 posts on techsideline various addressing this quote. Most of the posters think that Pelini was insulting them. This seems strange to me. Quote Link to comment
n.e.husker
I dont think that was an insult at all. It is true, the game is played in between the lines, the players shouldn't let the crowd affect how they play the game, aside from communication between QB and the line. Ill be there, screaming for the boys in white and red! GBR Quote Link to comment

caveman99
Smack talk would be something like, "Only 60K? Really that is it? How many will be at Farmageddon? I beat ISU fans make more noise!" Quote Link to comment

NoKoolAidForME
Do they really think it is louder than Lincoln. Do you really think that Lincoln is loud? Exactly.........lol Quote Link to comment
Huskerballz
Boards like that hurt my eyes to read and I hate clicking constantly to read messages. I don't understand why boards use that format. It blows. Well, I understand why tigerboard uses it, they don't know any better. Quote Link to comment
caveman99
Do they really think it is louder than Lincoln. Do you really think that Lincoln is loud? Exactly.........lol I have been to plenty of games in Lincoln that were extremely loud. Comparing the game day crowd for a FAU game vs. say the game against CU last season isn't a comparison. VT is most likely the same way. Quote Link to comment
Vince from ShamWOW
Do they really think it is louder than Lincoln. Do you really think that Lincoln is loud? Not at all, unless you think hearing Sit Down is deafening Quote Link to comment
Twodocs
if the crowd noise was such a factor perhaps they would list a decibel factor in the stat sheets! They will not be able to measure the silence when the Huskers put 21 points on them in first half And, the only noise you will hear is the VT fans rattling the car keys as they leave the game early cause they are getting thier buts kicked! Now thats some smack talk!! Quote Link to comment
FriscoTXHusker
I thought smack would be something like "The worst day as a VaTech fan is better than the best day as a Husker fan." Quote Link to comment
