VaTech Board thinks Pelini was talking smack?!

There are about 100 posts on techsideline various addressing this quote. Most of the posters think that Pelini was insulting them. This seems strange to me.

I dont think that was an insult at all.

It is true, the game is played in between the lines,

the players shouldn't let the crowd affect how they play the game,

aside from communication between QB and the line.

I have been to plenty of games in Lincoln that were extremely loud. Comparing the game day crowd for a FAU game vs. say the game against CU last season isn't a comparison. VT is most likely the same way.

if the crowd noise was such a factor perhaps they would list a decibel factor in the stat sheets!

They will not be able to measure the silence when the Huskers put 21 points on them in first half

And, the only noise you will hear is the VT fans rattling the car keys as they leave the game early cause they are getting thier buts kicked!
