n.e.husker
if the crowd noise was such a factor perhaps they would list a decibel factor in the stat sheets! They will not be able to measure the silence when the Huskers put 21 points on them in first half And, the only noise you will hear is the VT fans rattling the car keys as they leave the game early cause they are getting thier buts kicked! Now thats some smack talk!! Fellow Koolaid drinker. Quote Link to comment
jjamuss
Smack talk would be something like, "Only 60K? Really that is it? How many will be at Farmageddon? I beat ISU fans make more noise!" EXACTLY! Quote Link to comment
jjamuss
I thought smack would be something like "The worst day as a VaTech fan is better than the best day as a Husker fan." ... and that too. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
We would be saying the same thing....hopefully with correct spelling, though. Quote Link to comment
redout22
Meh. If the offense operates through gestures then it wont really effect them at all. All the players need to do it watch the ball being snapped. Quote Link to comment
Dave5
Some fans just need any thing they can consider to be "bulletin board material" to help them make it through game week. So far, the Huskers haven't provided any nuggets, so they need to reach a bit just to concoct some antidote. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
Pretty hard to trash talk VT...and hopefully it would be hard for them to do it to us...but then again, I think we are above all that when the other team gives you absolutely no reason to do anything but respect them and their fans. WCHusker
How loud can they be when they are all playing their banjos & squealing like pigs? Quote Link to comment
VA Husker2
How loud can they be when they are all playing their banjos & squealing like pigs? Pretty harsh. Oh, I almost forgot Uncalled for too. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I don't think that was smack talking at all, it's just stating the obvious and saying they'll be prepared for it. Quote Link to comment
WCHusker
Oh lighten up! This "sportsmanship" gig has gone a little too far. What ever happened to good old fashioned smack talking? Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
If you have to take something like this to attempt to make it into bulletin-board material, a team has more problems than it realizes. Quote Link to comment
Hokie
You all shouldn't feel bad that it takes you 20,000 more fans to get almost as loud as Lane Stadium. I hope Beamer has gotten the boys ready this game, but I know the crowd will be ready. And I agree it's a little hard to talk smack with you all. I personally can't stand Texas, OU and for some reason really hate ISU. Looking forward to a great game...and can one of you bring me one of those Corn Hats? Quote Link to comment
treeeman
crowd noise comes and goes; just ask the raiders about last night. One good score shuts them up Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
You all shouldn't feel bad that it takes you 20,000 more fans to get almost as loud as Lane Stadium. ... . That there's some nice smack. Puts our fans that attend home game down, but still makes you laugh...A little Congratulations, Sir Quote Link to comment
