:yeah We got the throwbacks we wanted, so what's the point of tweaking the standard unis? They are perfect the way they are. I know they aren't exactly flashy, (which is perfectly fine with me) but why would we want them to look even blander?

I'm sure this is really high on TO's priority list, right up there with bringing back the all red socks! <_<

haha, I was just telling my wife last night that we should bring back the red socks.

Calahan added the THICKER Wisconsin stripes, the early 90s stripes were thin. Then from 95 on till Calahan there were no stripes, save for the one season Solich messed with the uniforms. The stripes need to go.

You know, I really don't think our stripes are thicker in any way than the ones in that picture right there.

I like the stripes. But thats just me.

I'm still hoping they'll wear black one time. I think it would be sweet. I'm sure many disagree though.

Oh no! You had the nerve to bring up the color black in a uni thread, you better duck because there will be fallout! shoeth10.gif

I'm surprised more people on this board haven't throw a fit because the color of the numbers on the helmet were b-l-a-c-k. In fact, I commend their restraint.

95 and 97 MNC teams had no stripes, why not keep solid white pants and solid red pants, they just look tougher and just put a solid "N" on the pants?

I can't believe I'm saying this...but we are in perfect f'ing harmony here.

Steve brought the stripes back in '03, getting away from the Oregon look we rocked in '02. Never liked em.

Nope, we went back to the solid pants in '03 (check link). The stripes came in Callahan's first year, but I don't recall ever hearing anything about it being Callhan's decision or not...as far as I know the stripes and Callahan are two completely isolated incidents.

Secondly, the stripes we've had since '04 aren't any thicker than the stripes we had back in the 80's/90's.
