Minnesota_husker
cause we beat 3 sun belt teams and they have beaten Florida St. makes sense..they wont be come december Quote Link to comment
kansas husker
I think a lot of it depends when the game happens if week three and 4 are switched around we are probably ranked 14-18 now as it is we are 21-25 depending on the poll Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
If we keep winning we will move up...plain and simple. If we would have beat VT we would be higher. We didn't therefore we deserve to be where we are. Quote Link to comment
AngryHusker88
I don't care whatsoever about our ranking. In fact, I like where we are at #23. It just shows that there is a bias against Nebraska in the polls - Miami got completely dominated by a team that barely beat Nebraska in the final 30 seconds of the game. And Nebraska and Miami have the same 3-1 record. The only reason Miami is ranked ahead of us is because they're Miami & we're Nebraska - & because ESPN can't get enough of Jacory Harris' balls in their mouth Quote Link to comment
carlfense
The same reason why Penn State is ranked ahead of Iowa in the USA Today Poll. Quote Link to comment
np_husker
We need some big wins before we will get any respect from the pollsters. Quote Link to comment
missouri_husker24
Because they beat Oregon and Florida St. and we have beat 3 cupcakes plain and simple. Quote Link to comment
AngryHusker88
Boise State beat Oregon Miami beat Florida State & Georgia Tech - & the Florida State game they shouldve lost & the win isnt very impressive anyways Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
it really does no good to complain of the rankings. taking care of business on the field is most important. from there, at the end of the season, you can complain. we are right where we should be at this point, until we show definitive improvement and results. In the Deed the Glory
Boise State beat Oregon Miami beat Florida State & Georgia Tech - & the Florida State game they shouldve lost & the win isnt very impressive anyways So you are telling me that wins against Georgia Tech and Florida State are less impressive than wins against Florida Atlantic, Arkansas State, and Louisiana-Lafayette? We both have a loss to a top 15 team, regardless of the score that is all that should matter, the loss. I hate Miami as well, but I don't subscribe to the "common opponent" theory in rankings. All games are independent of each other. They deserve to be ranked ahead of us, plain and simple. Quote Link to comment
