holvy83
thought i saw a scroll on ESPN stating that Pelini is already considering starting Green. This should be an interesting week... Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
Yeah, hopefully he will make up his mind and stick to it....we don't need a QB controversy on top of all the other "issues" that this team has right now. Quote Link to comment
Husker Richard
I voted for Green. I don't know if he is the answer, but I do know that Zac Lee is not. its best to get Green some meaningful game experience now, before the big dogs come calling (OU, KU). Quote Link to comment
kstatehater
To me: It's broke..... FIX IT!!!!! Â I don't know if Cody is the answer or not.... but give him a week as preparing as the starter and see what happens... Â You won't know until you try.. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
I don't think it's a question of whether Cody is the answer or not. It's a process of elimination. We know it isn't Lee, so Green is left. Pretty basic. Quote Link to comment

Husker Richard
I'm curious to see how Cody would perform given a week to prepare with the 1's/knowing he was going to start/etc..... Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I voted for Green, but I didn't just take one game into consideration here. I've seen several things between the VT, MU, and TT game that have been concerning with Lee and his confidence seems to be getting worse every week. Constant miscues, not changing the play at the line, missing throws he shouldn't be missing, etc. Start Green now and give him a few weeks to get his feet under him. Our defense can keep us in the game with ISU and BU, but the offense needs to be there starting with OU. Quote Link to comment

Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
My opinion? Whoever earns it this week in practice. Â If that's Green, then that's fine with me. But you know that Lee is going to bust his ass this week and I wouldn't at all be shocked if he starts. Quote Link to comment
holvy83
I have been highly against Green starting all year, but starting to change my tune, if he does start against ISU and plays well and of course NU wins big, then I can see that he deserves more playing time, but does he start the rest of the year? If he makes it to the OU game and starts out horrible, does Lee get back in? I still think Lee has to tools to lead this year, too bad Spano went out with a knee injury in spring, i was hearing great things about him. Also if Green does play, he needs to go out there and have FUN, going out there like a scared kid trying not to make a mistake is going to make it worse. Anyone see the kid from CU last night? He went out there and just took it to KU, he was ready and was out there having fun knowing that he deserved to be out there, this is what Green needs to do if he gets the chance this week. captain obvious
I hope the coaches focus more energy on fixing the problems with the offensive line and wide receivers first. It doesn't matter who plays at QB unless they get those trainwrecks fixed. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
If we go with the freshman wew ill see typical freshman results. Some amazing plays and sprinkle in a few head scratchers. Plays where you go...."what was he thinking." Quote Link to comment
