CornBall
Hey, I love Pelini to death. Always thought he was the right guy. But what is going to happen to this guy if we lose to ISU? I mean, he basically twisted off during and after the Texas Tech game, and I can understand that a little, but it is a game, and it is an extracurricular activity for an institution of higher learning, is it not? I am pulling hard for Pelini to get the Huskers to the top and I totally think he can, but if he doesn't get control of himself and his emotions, this could all have a very unhappy and embarrassing end for all parties involved. I'm probably way out in left field on this, but I fear that things in the school and athletic administration could get very testy, very quickly if this behavior continues. Quote Link to comment
carlfense
We really need to stop with these threads. We knew the way Pelini acted well before we hired him as head coach, and fans almost universally celebrated. The man HATES to lose. I, for one, am ok with it. I do know one thing . . . no one was complaining about his behavior when we were winning. I'd be much more upset to have someone like Hawkins who goes all zen master after a loss. Football is played and coached with passion. Quote Link to comment
huskers1
Are you kidding me? What do you think he's going to do Chuck Norris someone? Can't any worse than the OU game last year, so relax. Quote Link to comment
Twodocs
so far he is no show for his own press conference 23 minutes late maybe TO is giving him some time off and TO will assume the head coaching duties while Bo seeks some mental health care or atends a Dale Carnegie course! Additionally, many, many fans were ecstatic with his outburst at the refs during his interim HC gig in our Bowl Game a few years ago. Seems many in the stands were cheering about his outburst. Husker_x
People. Enough. This is absolutely getting ridiculous. Pelini ain't going anywhere if we go 6-6 this season. Tom Osborne doesn't have a problem with Pelini. No one's calling for his head except delusional message boards fans. Now merge all these threads into one super-idiot thread and delete it. Enhance
It appears most of these threads are getting started by fairly new people to the board. For you new people out there, relax. This isn't Callahan, this is Pelini. He has proven that his team can bounce back from big/heart breaking losses. Quote Link to comment

LOL There is baseless, naive, idiotic post #600 from you. The press conference ALWAYS starts at 11:30 a.m. Quote Link to comment

predictionking
If we lose to Iowa State, there will be a meltdown of monumental proportions and people will be calling for Bo's head. It very much is a ticking time bomb. A loss to Iowa State would likely signify 7 straight losses to close out the season. Quote Link to comment
