Huskerfan55
Watson needs to go and Pelini needs to fire his ass now! Quote Link to comment
The Maudfather
No, Barney Cotton and Ted Gilmore need to go. Not Watson. Quote Link to comment
beanman
Watson needs to go and Pelini needs to fire his ass now! Would you fire your OC midseason? Give me a F'n break. Should he dictate what type of offense we run, yes. But firing him? Who would call plays? Tell me. Quote Link to comment
Paxo
We had success running out of I formation with Legate and Robinson during the third quarter, 'til Robinson fumbled it. Is it just me or did we not run out of the formation the rest of the game? We were getting nearly 10 yards a pop. Quote Link to comment

After we had success, we went back to the shot gun and the read option with an immoble qb and ended up with yet another 3rd and long. Watson blows. The o-line was busting them up on the previous drive and we got away from it. Lame. Quote Link to comment
Washusker
At what point does Bo get some blame? His team is HORRIBLY undisciplined and inconsistent. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNCo
Watson didn't fumble the ball, drop the passes did he? Or did I miss something? Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
Bo Pelini's teams are now in a second season where they have a huge reputation for playing stupidly. Emotion only goes so far. Granted, this game is entirely on the offense. Pelini's defense is playing almost flawlessly right now. But unless that discipline and fire spreads to the offense, a bowl game will be a major victory for this team right now. Quote Link to comment
Glendower
He's responsible for how the offensive players practice. You think they practice catch/ball control enough? Quote Link to comment
TITANIC VS LUSITANIA
Its not Watsons fault. People gotta catch the ball and people gotta hold on to the ball. We would have scored at least 5 times Quote Link to comment
NoKoolAidForME
Watson didn't fumble the ball, drop the passes did he? Or did I miss something? The coaches put the players in position to win this game on both sides of the ball. The offense turnsover were to blame. They had no trouble moving the ball just holding on to it. Yes Zac had three INT but only 1 was truly his fault this game the RB and WR let us down. Defense played great but ISU offense was terrible. Not saying the blackshirt are not back but if a team get 8 turnovers they should be able to aleast score of of one or two. I could only imagine what the game would have been like had the starting RB and QB was in the game. Quote Link to comment
Husker NoNo
This one hurts, but we left roughly 21 points on the field. It was depressing to see all of the fumbles, but I think that the team WILL rebound. Its okay...Be bummed, drink a few extra adult beverages tonight, and know that things ARE moving in the right direction. Quote Link to comment

irafreak
Sorry. Watson's desire to constantly go away from what is working is troubling. This offensive line has proven that they can get some push out of the I formation with some additional tightend assistance in both the missouri game and this one but we scrap it. Why?
