Overland Park Husker
Good luck to him. Wonder if this indicates anything about Carnes? EZ-E broke it in another thread, but the rumor is the coaches are split between Carnes and Godfrey. I've heard it's pretty much right down the middle. Be interesting to see who we take. Minnesota_husker
Good luck to Kain. I wasnt sold on him as a QB, so glad to see he can go somwhere and play QB and get a great education. Best of Luck to him! Quote Link to comment
Nexus
Colter is starting QB for Northwestern today. Quote Link to comment
schuhbdoo
Wow, we were in on him too. Starting as Freshman is a great accommplishment. I know he is really good friends with Kenny Bell from NU. Gameday said it was someone else starting, we shall see, watching it now. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
He didn't start, but I am sure he will continue to play in the game. He is a much better QB to run their system than the 6'6" 240 lb behemoth QB that started the game Quote Link to comment
Nexus
My bad, I mistook Teddy Greenstein's tweet to mean that Colter was starting. Greetings from Wrigley. Watch for NU's Kain Colter to make an impact. My gameday post: http://bit.ly/9UqBch Quote Link to comment

EZ-E
Really wish we could have found room on our roster for this kid. Mark my words, he is a TMart type talent. Quote Link to comment
Haspula
He burned us last weekend Quote Link to comment
HuskerCarter
I dont think it was anything personal. Gabbert burned us late with his decommit. We were scrambling around trying to pick up a QB that year. 5 different names were thrown around and in the end it was Carnes who got the scholly. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
Yep, and hindsight is 20/20. He's an impressive athlete, but our defense made him look better than he really is. Quote Link to comment
