illnino
Haven't seen this posted on the board yet, but espn has reported that defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat is going to be a Texas Longhorn. He's rated as the nation's No. 2 recruit on the ESPNU 150 rankings and No. 1 defensive player. Quote Link to comment
GSG
I received an ESPN text this morning saying the same thing. Quote Link to comment
GSG
And to add to it: LB Jordan Hicks of Lakota West HS (No. 4 in ESPNU 150) verbally commits to Texas Scout: Rivals: Quote Link to comment

jayhawk
Winning begets winning in college sports. NU has had similar mojo before, KU has it in basketball, truth of the college sports world. Quote Link to comment
illnino
Wow, just noticed that they also have commitments from the No.2 and 4 DT's in the country, the No.8 DE, and the No.6 and 9 LB's! Just imagine what our staff could do with a lineup like this? (Disclaimer: This is not a bash on NU commits) Quote Link to comment

They'll still find a way to tank a few games every season, except for once every four years when their 'senior star quarterback' gets them to the BCS game. Quote Link to comment

However Vince played in back to back BCS games as a SO and JR. Mccoy although didnt really play in the Championship lead his team to the Fiesta Bowl the year before after the whole 3 way tie thing between OU, TT and TX. Quote Link to comment

Well Colt was the main reason for getting them there, which is my central point. Quote Link to comment
NoKoolAidForME
Well their offense will defianlty struggle becuase of the lose of Colt and Ship. I just think people under estimate how well there defense played this season. I think they lost two key contributors neither of which is near the lose of Suh. The game in October will be very similar to the championship game; the only difference is no SUH and more linebackers on the field. (that to me is problematic) Quote Link to comment
