zoogs
Guy just loves the game and has the time of his life playing it. Hard not to root for a guy like that honestly. Quote Link to comment
irafreak
I won't believe it until the super bowl is over... Quote Link to comment
Apathy
Guy just loves the game and has the time of his life playing it. Hard not to root for a guy like that honestly. I agree. I'm not a Vikings fan but Favre is the man and I'll always be rooting for him and it doesn't matter what team he's on. The only way the Vikings make it to the playoffs is if Brett returns. Randy Couture reminds me of Brett Favre, both are old timers playing a sport that they love so much that they don't have the desire to stop playing because they love the sport to damn much....except for Randy has only been retired 1 time compared to Favres 2-3 times. BGREDSTUCKN IA
Sounds like they are throwing more money at him to persuade him(like it needed to be done)! Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
I can't believe a guy who was one game away from playing in a Super Bowl would hang up the cleats with the team he has coming back. If your body can't do it that's one thing, but this year's false alarm couldn't be about willpower. Quote Link to comment
NUance
I can't believe a guy who was one game away from playing in a Super Bowl would hang up the cleats with the team he has coming back. If your body can't do it that's one thing, but this year's false alarm couldn't be about willpower. This quote from Ponderosa in the 50 Jerks thread nails it: All Favre is doing is avoiding training camp. Do I have inside info? Well no. But the Vikings can't give - even Favre - an exception - so they do this dance. Favre takes a few hits in the media but he gets what he wants - to avoid the pre-season. In fact, everybody is happy Farve, the Vikings, the media, the fans. Quote Link to comment
