Redmusky
What is his record? I know it's good is it perfect? We will be ready for KSU in 10 days. I look to seeing the huskers having a big night' This will be the first game this season both sides of the ball have great games. Quote Link to comment
SaturnDrew
In 2008 Nebraska was 1-1 in games after bye weeks. Losing to Virginia Tech and defeating Colorado. In 2009 Nebraska was 1-0 in games after bye weeks. Winning to Missouri. Bo is 2-0 in Bowl games and 3-0 in season openers. So as far as having more than 1 week to prepare for a game, Nebraska is 7-1 under Bo as coach. Quote Link to comment

zoogs
In other words, Bo is 2-1 in bye weeks. Not a very long resume. Quote Link to comment
schuhbdoo
In other words, Bo is 2-1 in bye weeks. kansas husker
We did not have a bye week before vt I also believe we had an off week before missouri Quote Link to comment

I don't consider having a month to prepare, or a whole offseason to prepare, quite the same as a bye week in the middle of the season. 1 Quote Link to comment

If this game against SDSU did anything it re-focused the guys. Unless of course Washington is just that bad....... Quote Link to comment
SaturnDrew
We did not have a bye week before vt I also believe we had an off week before missouri Unless the information is incorrect, we did have one in the 2008 season, and I think I mentioned the Missouri one from last year. SaturnDrew
In other words, Bo is 2-1 in bye weeks. Not a very long resume. One interesting factoid about that 2-1 record is that in all 3 of those games, Nebraska trailed at some point in the fourth quarter. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
I'd be interested to know how much prep is is for KSU and how much is for Texas this week. My bet is the first four practices will be more generalized and Bo will be getting some filmwork on Texas in. His boy Stoops faces Texas Saturday and you know they share input, we'll get good 411 after the RRS. Later this week the focus steadies on KSU which still provide plenty of time. Honestly, after last week, I hope 100% of the time is spent on KSU as it's the next game on the schedule, the conference opener and the most important game to date as far as accomplishing the teams first goal on their list this year, winning the division. I have a feeling preparing for the wrong opponent had a lot to do with the piss poor performance this Saturday. Just my $.02 Quote Link to comment

If there was ever a lesson for the team to learn vs SDSU, it's prep for and completely focus on one team at a time. Quote Link to comment
