JOEY
Texas is nice,I live in Frisco Texas and since 2001 it has been the fasting growing city in the country. I have like 10 malls here in the Dallas Fortworth Metroplex and there are tons of places to eat. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Here's my nice thing about Texas: Mac Engle is funny. His blog: Mac Enge's self-professed genius observations from Thursday night's game between No. 7 Nebraska and Kansas State in Manhattan. Huskers won, 48-13. And the game wasn't as close as the final score indicated. Initial thought is no one in the Big 12 North is within 14 points of beating the Huskers. Not to say that one team from up yonder ways won't make it a game against the Cornheads, but the talent level isn't close. Missouri is the only other ranked team from the North, and the Tigers will get crushed by this team. * Huskers rushed for 450 yards, and the only reason it was that low is because the end zone kept getting in the way. * Nebraska's lines are dominant, particularly the offensive line. * Nebraska has found its QB in FR Taylor Martinez. He ran 15 times for 241 yards and four TDs. He completed 5-of-7 passes for 128 yards and 1 TD. He's going to have a clunker somewhere, but it looks as if he's another one of those annoying run/pass Husker QBs that will never make it in the pros, but will shred college defenses. * The Huskers play UT on Sat. 16. UT can hang for a half, and the defense may be able to slow the Huskers for a while. But if UT's offense can't score, and there is no indication it can, the Huskers will wear down a UT defense. * The Big 12 North stinks. Quote Link to comment
GBRsal
I really liked Stevie Ray Vaughan... I like how they roll over and die when they get behind by a touchdown. Quote Link to comment
UGAHusker
I really like Ricky williams too for that matter. he cracks me up Well all know that Ricky prefers grass to turf... Also, the Hank Jr. classic "Texas Women" would probably not exist without Texas. Quote Link to comment

NUance
Longhorns are very generous with time. They’ve been known to stretch a football game out to as long as 60:01. 3 Quote Link to comment
