WisnerPilger Husker
Doesn't anyone think it is strange that the same officials crew worked both the Texas game and Texas A&M game? We had the same kind of penalties in both games, from the same back judge. Bo had a reason to be upset, the officials dictated the outcome the game, not the players. The few calls that had the most impact were the ones that were very questionable. The Big 12 needs to be accountable for their actions, their football officials program needs a complete overhaul, starting with Walt Anderson, who does not have the time to properly evaluate his officials. Walt is a NFL referee who has to work for his present job and lacks the time to do what he is hired to do for the Big 12. Of course, Dan Beebe supports his buddy Walt and with those two in charge, things will not get better for Nebraska especially after last year's Big 12 Championship. It is not going to happen, but Dan Beebe and Walt Anderson need to go. I have watched and evaluated several Big 12 games and the Nebraska games seem to be officiated the poorest, but as a team we will need to overcome the shortcomings of the Big 12 for 2 more games. GOOD LUCK HUSKERS!!! Will see everyone in Dallas for Championship. LET'S GET LOUD ON FRIDAY and SCARE THE H_ _ _ OUT OF COLORADO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
LouisianaHuskerFan
Sean Callahan just posted this on his twitter page: "Greg Burks, last night's official reffed the Texas and ISU games as well...in the three games NU was flagged 32 times...their opponents 9." Not saying that all those penalties weren't warrented but that big of a difference in how many penalties we have versus what our opponent has raises some questions. Our two loses were in those games and the other closer than what it should have been. Just saying. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
Was Greg Burks the head ref? If so, it'd be him and the people underneath him responsible for the flags and not solely just him. I do know for a fact though that except for the official scorer, we had the exact same set of refs for the Texas and Texas A&M games. We were penalized something like 24 times to opponents' 6. BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
They were the crew that didn't throw a flag as Burkhead almost got his head twisted off at Iowa State. Pathetic bunch of POS's Quote Link to comment

HuskerNative
Doesn't anyone think it is strange that the same officials crew worked both the Texas game and Texas A&M game? This was the crew that officiated Texas, Iowa State and A&M. Officials: Referee: Greg Burks; Umpire: Scott Campbell; Linesman: George Gusman; Line judge: Kevin Mar; Back judge: Shawn Hochuli; Field judge: Nick Lave; Side judge: Gene Semko Texas game: Penalties: Number-Yards....... (Texas) 4-53 (Nebraska) 10-94 Iowa State: Penalties: Number-Yards....... (ISU) 3-40 (Nebraska) 6-54 A&M game: Penalties: Number-Yards....... (A&M) 2-10 (Nebraska) 16-145 So in three games called by this crew, Nebraska has been penalized 32 times for 273 yards vs. nine penalties for opponents for 103 yards. The disparity against the Texas teams is more stunning. In our four other conference games, with other officiating crews, Nebraska has been penalized 23 times for 192 yards and their opponents have been penalized 22 times for 181 yards. Helluva coincidence. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
I dubbed them "Dan Beebe's All-Stars" in other threads. Quote Link to comment

That is if we even make it past the officials this week. That would be sooo wrong. Forfitting would be wrong for our players, fans and the University. But, in theroy only, wouldn't that be the ultimate slap in the face for the B12 to win the north and refuse to play in the last B12 championship, in the foreseeable future.(maybe even better than taking it with us to the B10) LOL LOL I'd love to see the B12 get the respect they show "most" of the teams in the leage. Just in theroy of course. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
I damn sure hope that his crew or any part of it isn't part of the conference championship game...IMHO he and his crew need to be suspended for the rest of the season. Quote Link to comment
