TheKiD
I imagine this crew had a lot of pressure going into this game after what happened last week. I thought they called a pretty damn good game overall, and I didn't feel any bias either way. I feel like after how much we vented against last weeks crew, we should respond in turn by praising the officiating this week...(edit: well, okay maybe just commending for a job well done) anyone with me? knapplc
Yep, they did all right in an environment they could reasonably have expected to be hostile towards them. I would like to see the game I recorded before going overboard in my praise of them, but from what I saw, they did pretty good tonight. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNLimbo
For some reason, it just seemed like they gave us calls today so they can screw us once we get back to Texas next week. I know that's paranoid and ridiculous, but that's what I was feeling all day...esp with all the flag pick ups! 1 Quote Link to comment
Sparker
Why should we applaud them for this? I found myself thinking the exact same thing, and then I stopped myself. They did their job, as they should have. Their paycheck is all the gratitude they deserve, and in the CCG I hope they can leave their bias at home and do their job. Quote Link to comment

Commend may be more appropriate.. but I agree, looks can be deceiving, but I thought there were some great non-calls.. and that's a pretty good indication I think. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
As with any game, there were TONS of calls that should have been made, but weren't. There were two major blocks in the back, one on Nebraska, the other on Colorado, that they didn't call. On CU's they called something else on CU, so karmically it probably evened out, but still. okaive
Funny you mention this. When the ref threw the flag, 3 of us were automatically yelling/cussing and it ended up being on CU. We laughed then appologized and blaming it being on the "Texas" ref's reputation that has us on edge. Quote Link to comment
dergibog
There must have been 50 guys in the student section with yellow flags! But they didn't need them too often. The game was pretty fairly officiated. Quote Link to comment
808Husker in KCMO
At one point, I felt like maybe Colorado was getting a bad break, but the game was called evenly/fairly. Like I said in another thread. Props. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
They did a solid job, given what we've seen officiating-wise I'll gladly applaud their efforts. I really hope we see this type of reffing when it counts, in the CCG. I know Bo was on good behavior but still it's obvious Bo has a much easier time being patient in a well-called game. SaturnDrew
They did do a good job. Would be nice to get these guys for the Big 12 CCG. I thought that the call that set the tone was the very first review. While it was clear Nebraska didn't catch the ball, I thought for sure that the play would stand based on the cop out of "insufficient evidence to overturn the play." Maybe Dan Beebe was right and there's no conspiracy. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJosh
Still want to know where the video of Crick's personal foul is. Quote Link to comment

I was thinking, "why are they doing this?" "Are they doing it to get us here?" "Or how about here." Quote Link to comment
huskernumerouno
I watched the replay and was still gun shy LOL Quote Link to comment
