HuskerTrucker
Unfortunately, he will choose to be a Royal. You can't blame a kid for wanting to get rich quick, rather than work for something that may never come (National Championship with you as QB), or risk injury that could mean that the money will never be there. HuskerT
I would give up millions to play football at Nebraska. But Husker football was passed to me through the placenta. No offense, but its easy to make that decision hypothetically. He actually has the decision to make. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
There's a lot more to life than money. This is true. And money does not make things better. Money does not buy love. Money does not buy happiness. But let me ask you a question: Do you want more money? Quote Link to comment
Husker from Kansas
i heard today that the royals have offered him 10 million to play baseball, $10,000,000! that is alot of 0's. he would be crazy to turn down that kind of money, i understand that the kid has a passion to play both football and baseball, but c'mon, with that kind of money the kid would be set for life! Have you ever seen anyone frown on a jetski? Take the money Bubba. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Money doesn't buy happiness, but it does make things better. Meh. Not sure on that. I think most of us believe we are wise enough to better our lot in life with more money, using it as a tool to improve our circumstances. But many, many people have tried to do that and failed. EZ-E
I think Bo said it right in the interview he did awhile back "He's gotta follow his heart. If he is using anything but that in this life-changing decision than he isn't going to make the right one." Quote Link to comment
