Hercules
I remember looking at all of the schedules in '01 and figuring out who had to lose to who, and I watched all of them. I did that too. I went crazy rooting for this or that team in all of those games, and they all happened just the way they had to. Then I actually thought we could beat Miami... Whoops. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Do we even WANT to go to the National Championship game? Seriously, we'd likely get smoked. Quote Link to comment

sd'sker
this is bye week talk. there are too many better teams out there. at the beginning of the year we could have gone undefeated and not have made it, not there will be too many one loss teams. one-loss 'bama or lsu would get a chance before we did, even if it was for a rematch. kansas husker
way to early to think about this, but I am impressed for you to figure it all out. Just a quick question: Who would we play if this played out like you have it? Quote Link to comment

Enhance
You know what would make life easier - a playoff. Us winning out would guarantee a shot at the national title. Instead, we have worry about us winning and other teams losing a certain way. What fun... Quote Link to comment
