T_O_Bull
Is there anyone out there who gives a paper bag full of old stinky fart$ that we might not have an NBA season? T_O_B Quote Link to comment
coop
As far as I'm concerned they can cancel the NBA forever. 4 Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
I'll be honest, I'm not much of an NBA fan, but the finals last year may have been the best series of games I have ever seen. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
I'm really bummed out - both for myself as a fan, and for all of the little people that will struggle financially because of all of this. Quote Link to comment
ensanehusker
I'm with ya on who cares. I hope the owners just hire new players for the league minimum and call it good. Could care less about the showboating gun toting prima donnas in the nba. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
My most memorable NBA memory was the Simpson Bronco chase Quote Link to comment
Excel
I'm so happy I won't have to see their crap this year! More time left for football, college basketball, and hockey and baseball as the year progresses. Good riddance NBA... Quote Link to comment

It's not as if those seasons are going to get longer or something. If you don't watch it, it doesn't affect you in any way. Quote Link to comment
TonyStalloni
I mostly quit watching NBA basketball 10 years ago. I'll confess I did watch the finals last year but mostly because Dirk N was there. It's not really basketball so much as professional wrestling in a gym. With the non-traveling calls, protection of top level players and strange ref calls at critical points in the game, it's a deal breaker for me. Quote Link to comment

It means when I turn on sports center I don't have to watch 20 minutes of NBA games I don't care about....same when I pick up a paper or an issue of SI. So yes it does affect me. 2 Quote Link to comment

Plus they put other stuff on TV in those time slots, like these wild MAC shootouts and such. Quote Link to comment
