carlfense
Can't wait for those stats about how our defense isn't as bad as it looks. 1 Link to comment
Husker_x
There's not much sugarcoating it. At this point in the game it's a travesty. Hope they adjust quick. Link to comment
SnowBigRed
Defense is horrendous thus far. Lucky, lucky, lucky. Link to comment
Husker66
its gonna be like 08-09...just try to outscore the other side. conference play is going to be rough. Link to comment
SECHusker
there performance thus far is SHAMEFUL. -Busted Coverage -Poor tackling I hope they MAN UP soon Link to comment
Husker66
UCLA's offensive line has 3 freshman....their coach jokes about getting permission slips from their mothers....we are in deep sh$7 this fall when we get to the o-lines in the Big 10. deep like 07 deep. Link to comment
The Dude
Not sure how anyone could have expected different after last week. We're seeing the same exact thing, except against an offense that can execute. Link to comment
carlfense
There were several posters here saying they played well statistically . . . Link to comment
zoogs
Several as in 12? Last game though they did play well statistically. I just remember knapplc's breakdown of how there was stuff to improve on and watch out for, in spite of the good statistics. Anyway, I still wouldn't worry about this group. We've been in the process of rebuilding our D after a massive graduation of starpower over the last few seasons. We are probably closer to where we were at the start of 2009 with all the inexperience, but this unit is in the process of coming together. Link to comment
Count 'Bility
I'm not negative. Mostly a sunshine pumper. But at this point now down 17-14, it's bad. The d-line is horrendous. I wouldnt be as upset if it was containment but jeez, there gettin pushed all over. We've got serious issues up front, and yes, we miss LaVonted, bigtime. Compton-bless his heart and effort-is not him Last year i thought the struggles were x's and o's with the youth and inexperience but this year it is not. I the line gettin wooped and the secondary and linebackers in position but not making the plays. Link to comment
Norhusker
UCLA moves the ball at will. Let's hope our offense scores more against a better than expected UCLA defense. Link to comment
carlfense
Several as in one in particular. Link to comment
Flood
Luckily we have some offense. I hope the halftime adjustments work really, really well. No doubt the Blackshirts are not in attendance at the Rose Bowl. Guess they missed the flight. Link to comment
HuskerBCS
Some of the worst linebackers I have ever seen on a football field. The defensive ends are just as bad. Have you ever heard about containing the QB? Link to comment
