WTF Papuchis? Where is your defense?

Papuchis is not the d-coordinator. Bo is. Has been since day one. Not day one of this season. Since day one of this era. This is not speculation. It's common sense. Yes, this defense has some major issues. But Pap is not "THE" d-coordinator, and niether was Carl.

BS! Pull your head out! I thought Pelini was supposed to be a "defensive genius."

So you seriously believe that Pap, and Carl too for that matter, call/called the def. sets on their own similar to what Beck is doing with the off.? Wrong. Maybe Carl did much more last year than normal while Bo was overseeing the offense more, but good god, to believe it's all Pap and no Bo is just stupid.

The point here is that if Pelini was actually doing the defensive coordination, we would see a much more organized and intense effort. As is was in the first half, the defense did not know where to go and when we got there, it was too late. Tackling is non-existant. We are getting burned on the edges, have no pass rush and no containment. The corners are over playing and linebackers are not fast enough to stretch the field from side to side. If Pelini were doing the job of defensive coordinator, it would be a different game. If Pelini had any gonads he would tell Papuchis to go sit on the bus.
