Blackshirtsguru
Happy for Frank, and it's great that Ohio is having such success lately. But his apathy towards recruiting sunk us into that hole in the first place. The journey out of it has been long and painful. For all of Callahan's ultimate failings as a coach, thank goodness he put us back on the recruiting map and showed that Nebraska can be a major recruiting power if we pull out all the stops. And thank goodness that our recent direction with recruiting is going to have us take off in that regard under Bo. Sorry...I am not buying that last statement. Our recruiting has went down every year since Bo has been here. Not too mention the players that he did recruit either didn't pan out or worse yet...quit the team entirely. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I don't think it has. It's been down in the dumps before. But it's gone up. His first cycle was trouble, of course, but his hire was announced that Novemeber. The 2009 and 2010 classes were somewhat troubling. 2011 was a step in the right direction, I think. But this recruiting cycle, we've really stepped it up. I think it's a big credit to our new Recruiting Coordinator. Quote Link to comment
Undone
Umm and Bo has COACHTARDED US INTO ANY LOSS'S IN HIS TENDER?? His tender? His tender what? Sounds like a sensitive subject. Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
Better coach. Bo or Frank? Doesn't matter. Frank's there and doing well. Bo's here and doing well after the disaster created by Pederson and Callahan. T_O_B G>B>R Quote Link to comment
flatwaterfan
I think Frank's a better head coach, but it's not apples and oranges. Frank has more head coaching experience & game under his belt. My guess is that Pelini will be a better head coach after he racks up the experience and mellows a bit more with media & fans etc.... Junior
Until I see Bo win a conference title and a BCS game, I'm not buying him as a better coach than Solich. Time will tell. Quote Link to comment
I AM FOOT FOOT
Im happy Franks doing well in Ohio and im a fan of the bobcats just becouse he is there. whos better??? as stated give Bo time , hes learning and will be a good coach in the future, but Frank is right now Quote Link to comment
strigori
Better coach. Bo or Frank? Now or when Frank was an NU? There is a big difference. I think Frank is a better coach now than he was when he took over here. When here was here he was trying to be TO, not be his own man. And that never ends well. I think the time he had between jobs made him reevaluate how to be the top guy, and change the how and when he recruited. Quote Link to comment
Husker71
Proud of Solich. Like him as a person and no question he turned his program around. Bo is better now and has the better long term potential. Quote Link to comment

RexIsMyDogg
Frank is the only Nebraska coach in recent history to beat Texas. And that was so long ago Texas fans don't remember. God I hate how bad Texas (and the refs) own us. Quote Link to comment
