DJR313
Yup, Scout is now confirming it. Welcome to NU Mr. Henry!!!! Speaking of Scout, they show that Henry hasn't been offered a scholarship by NU yet. Is he walking on, grey shirt? Or does scout just got that marked incorrectly? Quote Link to comment
chuckd
I believe they just don't update that stuff very quickly. Obviously he has been offered. They will have "leaders" for a particular recruit that are way outdated, and with Henry not being a "big name" prospect, they probably don't update his info very often. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, there are quite a few prospects that their lists aren't updated very well. Quote Link to comment
Washusker
Welcome, Mr. Henry! Let me be the first to say, however, that I'd be shocked if he catches more than 8 balls this upcoming season. Seems to me that he's a project. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
The guy is very underrated from what i heard of. He is going to suprise a few people next year and see some playing time. The coaching staff continues to find diamonds in a pile of coal. I am very happy with this pickup, regardless if he is rated a 2 o3 3 star by some recruiting services. Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Will Henry, a 6-foot-6, 195-pound wide receiver from El Paso, Texas, on Sunday gave his verbal commitment to accept Nebraska’s scholarship offer. You might notice a trend here in regard to the Huskers’ recent wideout recruits. They’d probably make a decent basketball team, if it could find a point guard. Maurice Purify is 6-4, 210; Menelik Holt 6-4, 210; and Tyrell Spain 6-3, 190. Playing for J.M. Hanks High in El Paso, Henry this season hauled in 56 receptions for 927 yards and 12 touchdowns. According to Scout.com and Rivals.com, he turned down scholarship offers from Texas Tech, Texas-El Paso and New Mexico State. Rivals.com ranks Henry as a two-star player (out of five possible), while Scout.com gives him one star. Nebraska’s wide receiver position received a significant boost this past season from Nate Swift (45 receptions for 641 yards), Terrence Nunn (43-495), Grant Mulkey (26-271) and Frantz Hardy (25-349). It appears those players will be pushed by some tall and fast incoming recruits. Of course, competition in practice is ALWAYS a good thing Link Quote Link to comment
hootin' annie's goatfarm
hello, well NU got their 1st committment out of tx for this yr, & their 3rd 6'6" player of the recruiting yr (along w/ williams & smith) henry is a great pickup not just because of height & speed - but because NU seemed to be after one last wr for their recruiting yr, & henry was the last one standing after others chose other schools, & mitchell hated ne's weather, & hancock I believe has of recently, or will so commit to tn Quote Link to comment
hootin' annie's goatfarm
hello, I loved the will henry verbal even more after I saw this headline: http://tennessee.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=501538 Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
The thing that I like, With Henry and at least 5 or 6 other Husker receivers. If the opposing team doesnt have tall D-backs, we have created one heck of a mismatch. It is GREAT to see these big physical receivers just keep coming! Quote Link to comment

KansasHusker
Man I cannot wait to see this tall one on the field...what an air out show we will be watching in the near future. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
With all of the TALL receivers we are accumulating , the opposing D-backs might sprain their necks looking up. Quote Link to comment
