corncraze
I can, in no way, see this helping the team... I certainly will not be one to throw Taylor under the bus due to Bo inability to be a HC. 3 Quote Link to comment

81 NU Alum
Armstrong needs to start, but it is not an indictment of TM. He is hurt to the point where he cannot run effectively. A running threat who cannot run versus a young QB who is healthy and can pass better than TM. Not a hard decision. Play TA. Quote Link to comment

robsker
At this point it is clear that NU is going nowhere this season. There will be no CCG. So... with Martinez hobbling, it makes sense to play Armstrong from here on out and get him the experience so that next season he is more ready to lead. Seniors like Ankrah and a few others should as well give significant minutes to their backups. Bo will not do this because he is coaching for his job and the idea of playing for next season makes no sense for Bo as he must be fairly certain for him that there will be no next season for him at NU. The idea of playing for next season is a common thing for middling teams... they start seeing long term and use now for the better hope of next year. NU is a middling team. There is nothing of note available for this season. But perhaps next year will be better. A seasoned QB would help. Let Armstrong and others replace (at least in part) their senior counterparts and let them work out the kinks now... NU might lose a game (or two) this season that they might not have otherwise lost... but it matters not. This season is over as regards anything of significance... so invest now for the future. HuskerNationNick
Kellogg to start, Armstrong to get meaningful snaps. Kellogg, in my opinion, is our best chance in winning out. The guy knows how to read a defense, isn't afraid to get that first down with his legs, gets rid of the ball when things don't go right and has a damn good arm. He doesn't seem to be off key with his receivers. He meshes better with the team, in my opinion. Agree with The Dude #TeamKellogg Quote Link to comment
shyndy
Yeah not just Armstrong, both of them, most importantly just having a healthy qb out there. Would we start Abdullah over cross with broken toes? Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
Cant help but notice the ONLY differences in this team from UCLA to SDSU/Illinois/Purdue to Minnesota was the qb. Facts are facts. TommyTime engaged. 1 Quote Link to comment
