Carr refuses to give up

Recommended Posts

“Things happened at the end that need to be looked at on film,” Michigan coach Lloyd Carr said. “Our players deserved better.”

Yeah they do deserve better. A coach who will put his talent to better use. Antonio Bass who was probably the best athlete on the field, got exactly 3 touches the entire game. Your standout WR 8 cathces for only 90 yards???????? There are other plays besides an ISO up the middle. I think Nebraska was able to stuff that one :sarcasm

Your five star players deserve a better staff, quit whining like you did the entire game.

One of the more bizarre excuses I heard was that the officials were at fault on the last play for allowing the Michigan coaches for being on the field. If the Michigan coaches had stayed on the sidelines, it would have allowed the Michigan lineman carrying the ball to cut to the middle of the field and avoid both NU players. So the lineman would obviously have scored. It was the officials fault that the Mich coaches blocked the play!

in his interview on ESPN, he never once acknowledged that NU came to play and he was beaten by them...just complained about the officiating, which was pitiful, for both sides.......but the fact remains, HIS TEAM GOT BEAT.....another excuse and coach in denial regarding their lack of effort or game plan......Carr was outcoached by cally in this game........period.

People tend to do this when they got nothing else left. In the end it makes them out to be ridiculous because there reaching so far.

i think that a 3 foot flame is right under his a$$ with UM going 7-5. you know that alot of UM fans will be calling for his head and he is just trying to get the attention off of him and put it somewhere else.

Fact remains - they gave up 15 points in the final 7 minutes. It was their turn to get burned by turnovers - if they want to place blame, place it on the offense, the defence, and the coaches for not being able to preserved a 2 touchdown lead with less than 1/2 a quarter to go. Officiating was poor for both teams the entire game. That's life in the world of football.
