knapplc
From Darnell Dickson/LJS: Nebraska women's basketball coach Connie Yori collapsed on the sideline in the second half of Sunday's 76-61 victory against Indiana but walked off under her own power after being attended to by paramedics. Nebraska had just scored to the game at 50-all with 12:16 to play when Yori collapsed near the Husker bench. A hush fell over the crowd as paramedics rushed onto the floor. After a few moments, Yori sat up, then stood and walked off the floor with the paramedics. Security at Pinnacle Bank Arena restricted access to the tunnels and locker rooms and no other information was available immediately. Quote Link to comment

huskered17
That was quite a performance by the women's team, against a top ten team. Penn St did know what hit them. The ladies shot lights out the whole game.Nice to have two teams in basketball, have this much success in the same season. Many other schools do it and the university is really behind all these programs, so its nice to see all the money spent on upgrading the facilities is helping. Good luck to the ladies and men's team, the rest of the way. I think these programs will be good, for a long time to come. GBR!!! 2 Quote Link to comment
