How do we try and spread the carries: Our spring RB ?'s

Recommended Posts

It's definitely a feel thing as far as how many carries Abdulla should get, in the early/easy games he should get no more than 15 carries, but in the bigger games such as MSU/Wisky that could increase to as much as 25-30 a game

Ideally, I would keep Abdulla at somewhere between 15-20 carries. Cross at 10-15 carries and Taylor and Newby sharing another 15 carries. The QB's should have no more than 10 carries a game in a perfect world.

The season will ultimately dictate if he'll be in contention for the Heisman but if he wants a shot at it, he's definitely going to need more than 15 carries/game.

If Abdulla is to compete in the Heisman race, he will have to get more than 15 carries a game. He will need to pad his stats a bit early in the year to get off to a good start and get talked about. Obviously he is a team first guy, but I wonder if the coaches will be thinking about that at all.
