Wow....The Democrats put up the bill Republicans originally said they wanted.  Trump says no....Republicans all of a sudden don't want it....till after the election.  The Dems still want this bill because it helps secure the border.

Here's a novel idea....if the difference between 5000 and 2000 (where did you even come up with that number) is SUCH a horrible thing, then pass this bill....if Republicans win in November, they can always drop the number to 2000.  But, meanwhile, the border patrol will have what they are asking for.

 

But....Trump doesn't want that.

It’s the current argument you are making now, that Republicans aren’t serious because they won’t support this one particular bill, so I make a similar argument that if a tougher bill comes across at a future date and Dems don’t support it, that means they aren’t serious.   Correct!

But....Trump doesn't want that.

2,000 a day times 30 days is 60,000 a month times 12 months is 720,000 a year and close to the average of what was normal the previous decade.   Before The Big Guy and the Dems wanted to normalize the current figure.  
 

How could Republicans change the number without changing the law and getting Democrat support?  So let’s change the number, eliminate the clown provision of DC being the only district a legal challenge can come from, finish the wall, and give border patrol MORE  of what they want.

The bill itself is putting out the points that you won’t acknowledge.  
 

I’m arguing against the bill because it’s worse than what we had prior to your party’s leader taking charge.   It’s not hard to understand this.  Literally just look at the data, and look at the lack of enforcement measures being empires but the dopes currently running things.   The dopes you support.
