Creed
It's going to be a good week for the B1G. Might even better than .500 for the week. Big 10, Big 10, Big 10!!! Quote Link to comment

Creed
Since the B1G apparently has nothing to play for anymore, I will call this season a success if Indiana beats Missouri and exposes the SEC poll myth. That is, if an SEC teams beats another SEC team, you move up 10+ spots. The losing SEC only drops a couple because they just lost to a highly ranked SEC team. They just flip flop with each other in the polls. Quote Link to comment

I wouldn't worry about this until at least the initial poll comes out in 6 weeks. Quote Link to comment
strigori
My picks in bold. . . Eastern Michigan Michigan State Western Illinois Northwestern Iowa Pittsburgh Southern Illinois Purdue Bowling Green Wisconsin Maryland Syracuse Utah Michigan Rutgers Navy Texas State Illinois San Jose State Minnesota Indiana Missouri Massachusetts Penn State Miami Nebraska MSU in an easy win. NW wins, but just barely. Pitt beats Iowa, who still can't manage to run the ball. Purdue I think will win, but no way I would bet on it. Wiscy wins. MD wins, though another I would not touch with a bet. Utah wins, in a humiliating fashion, and the Brady Hoke effigies burn on couches in Ann Arbor. Rutgers pulls off another late, come from behind win. Ill wants a track meet, and can out score Texas State. Minn has an opponent that they don't need to have a passing game to beat. Mizzou is going to boat race Indiana, no way around it. PSU wins, but probably a very close game. Nebraska wins. The game is at home, under the lights. Generally that means a win. VectorVictor
Eastern Michigan Michigan State (Cakewalk) Western Illinois Northwestern (Should be a close one) Iowa Pittsburgh (Another close one if Iowa gets their running game on track) Southern Illinois Purdue (Thought their effort against ND looked good...well, better than Michigan's at any rate...) Bowling Green Wisconsin (My upset pick #1--Wisky doesn't have their head screwed on straight IMO) Maryland Syracuse (Good win for the B1G, IMO) Utah Michigan (Frankly, the way Michigan has played, it would be an upset if they beat Utah) Rutgers Navy (Upset #2--if Nova "No va"s again, Navy will bludgeon their defense to a win) Texas State Illinois (Should be close...but Illinois is content to be themselves for another year...) San Jose State Minnesota (Should be close, couldn't pull the trigger on this being an upset though...) Indiana Missouri (Upset #3--Indiana will turn this into a track meet and win. That, and Mizzery sucks.) Massachusetts Penn State (Will be closer than people think) Miami Nebraska (Will be close until 2nd half, when DoNU pulls away for a closer-than-we-fans-want win) Quote Link to comment
