TGHusker
when bo loses control, so does the team. i think we have enough evidence to confidently assert this now. Yeah. When we were only down a touchdown and Bo was losing it on the sideline I turned to my dad and said that this game was going to spiral out of control . . . we've seen this before. "We're only down by seven points right now . . . but this game is over. The team is going to meltdown." Carl , at the OK Husker Club we all had the same look on our face and thoughts in our minds. we could feel the implosion coming. Bo was an easy target for the cameras and the announcers - angry ole Bo - what an embarrassment. Time to get someone wt some self control and who knows how to coach and make game day adjustments. Dr. Strangelove
2 posters to a Sipple article - adds to this thread. I don't take credit for their hard work, but I agree wt the conclusions. We can do much better. Dam the excuses that we've won 9 games per year, that we can't get someone good to come here. NU is too good for these lame excuses. Time to say thanks for 7 years and move on. Bo will not get us a championship of any kind. Quotes: Just to put things into prospective, this is why Mr. emBOrrassment needs to go. I looked up some stats on him as illustrated below. Makes it pretty abundantly clear. As one writer stated 'Being good enough is keeping us from being great'. I have to doubt the good when we think of who we've defeated over the years and who we haven't. Quote Link to comment
strigori
Nebraska wants to win conference, and hopefully, national championships. In order to do so, ask yourself these questions. #1 Do you think Pelini can at least consistently split games with Dantonio? #2 Do you think Pelini can at least consistently split games with Meyer? #3 Do you think Pelini can at least consistently split games with Andersen? For me, the answer to #1 is "maybe," #2 is not a change in hell, and #3 well, we just saw that beatdown. Hell, I'm not sure he will consistently beat Kill, we will find out this weekend. Beating those three is paramount to winning hardware. If he can't beat them, they its time to remove him. Quote Link to comment
