Warrior10
It really sounds like he's got a guy already lined up Yes, just the confidence he is talking with. Sounds like he has a guy and he is happy with it. Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
Eichorst just gave his tenth "at the end of the day..." Who was the other guy to always use that phrase? Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
It shouldn't matter what Osborne thinks of Eichorst's decision. I respect Osborne immensely, but Eichorst doesn't need Tom's approval Quote Link to comment
Paul in WI
There's a lot of healthy talk coming out of our AD. Standards matter, top to bottom. Absolutely. Color me impressed with how he's handling this. This press conference is not what I expected from him, considering his supposed reputation. 1 Quote Link to comment

Hammerhead
Got the impression from his comment on doing it now vs. after the bowl game that while he's not going to force the current coordinators to find new jobs, he would prefer that they did. Quote Link to comment

I respect Osborne immensely, but Eichorst doesn't need Tom's approval But he should listen to Osborne's advice. Why? I would also ask this. I have all the respect in the world for Osborne, but he was a coach of a different era. He had success, but his ways to success aren't set in stone. The game changes, rules change, scholarships change... he's incredibly wise at football, but he's not without his own issues. Quote Link to comment
