The Terrapins, who can be either the first or second seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament, have won their last six games, most recently a 60-50 win at Rutgers on Tuesday night. The Terrapins finished the regular season by going 18-1 at home, but are just 5-4 in true road games this season.Turgeon is a familiar face for long-time Husker fans, as he played at Kansas from 1984 to 1987 for Larry Brown and also served as an assistant at KU from 1987 to 1992. He served as a head coach at Jacksonville State, Wichita State and Texas A&M before taking the Maryland job prior to the 2011-12 season. PaulCrewe
DJ Newbill goes ape against Minny and hits the game winning 3 leaving an opportunity for Nebraska getting the 10 seed with a win and getting an extra day of rest. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
These refs are f'ing terrible. 20 fouls with 9 minutes left. Eh, the illegal screen by Maryland was bad but other than that I think the fouls are warranted. Lots of slapping and quite a few guys getting contact going to the rim. Quote Link to comment

They are ticky tac and it makes the game no fun when the whistle blows every minute, and in this case, more than once a minute. Quote Link to comment
