Comish
Is he still leading the conference in turnovers? If so, this honor (although downgraded from first team last year) is a bit of a surprise. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Seems like Petteway has caught a bit of heat from Husker fans lately. But I wish we could recruit a Terran Petteway every year. He's been a great player for us. Sure, his shooting dropped off some this year. I don't think it was for lack of effort on his part though. Quote Link to comment
BaytownHusker
Does he go pro after this year? Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Does he go pro after this year? If he does, it wont be to the NBA... It will be to Europe. Quote Link to comment
Comish
I suspect he will be back. Odd that we will have most of our talent stocked at the same position. We will have more wings than BW3........... 1 Quote Link to comment
Huskball
FWIW, Sipple from Journal Star said on the radio that he thinks Petteway is leaning toward leaving. He didn't have any inside source or anything, just his feeling. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Only thing I've seen would be wanting to go pro to help his mother/family. But it won't be in the NBA. He's not even projected to get drafted at all. And it's a terrible idea to enter the draft early if you're not fairly certain to be a first round choice. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
A decision on All-Big Ten wing Terran Petteway’s basketball future at Nebraska is on hold until after spring break, coach Tim Miles said Tuesday. Petteway, a fourth-year junior, is on track to earn his bachelor’s degree in May. The lone question is whether he returns to NU for a senior season or turns professional. His 23rd birthday is in October. At season’s end, Miles said, the plan is for Petteway to return to Galveston, Texas, to visit his immediate family. His mother is battling cancer for the third time. “I expect we’ll sit down after he gets back, which is after spring break," Miles said. OWH Quote Link to comment
