You know, that's a really good observation, and one I hadn't taken notice of over the past 10 years. Everyone talks about how the jerseys are getting tighter, but to your point the construction and materials they use nowadays on the pads to keep their size down is pretty remarkable. Look at some linemen. They look like they went and got their shoulder pads out of the local grade school equipment locker. Quote Link to comment
