Saunders
This is done by the guys at SBnation who came up with the S&P+ rankings, an advanced stat for "power rankings" similar to Sagarin. Anywho, they have us losing the next 3, and beating Purdue, NW, Rutgers, and Iowa to finish 6-6. :/ http://www.footballstudyhall.com/pages/2015-nebraska-advanced-statistical-profile Update: ESPN's lovely "FPI" system has us projected to lose to Illinois (49.3% win probability), Wisconsin (42.1%) and MSU (33.0%), and finish 7-5. http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/fpi?id=158&year=2015 Quote Link to comment

Thanks_Tom RR
So, we are suppose to believe that (1) Minnesota can score 30+ and (2) we will lose to Minney by a large margin than Michigan St? :\ Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
At least we beat Iowa! For real though, as much as I love stats, there are so many qualitative aspects in football that can change from week to week that can invalidate a lot of those stats. 2 Quote Link to comment
zoogs
A string of 3 losses is totally possible (how sobering). If it happens, it will severely test the mettle of a Huskers team known in recent years for up-and-down psyche and also for at least being able to celebrate and hang their hats on 9 wins. It's not going to be real pleasant if this happens. If it does, so be it. Tests of mettle are nothing more, nothing less than opportunities to rise above. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Can we start laughing and pointing when we beat Illinois this week? That would seem fair. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Personally, I'd just breathe a sigh of relief. And if we crush 'em, I'd dig up some old Sam McKewon stuff to retweet at him ;D All in good fun -- fair's fair when you call those hot shots. Quote Link to comment

Minney's offense is anemic, and Cook is dynamic against a good secondary. I'm not buying it. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
I guess I'm being optimistic at 7-5... Quote Link to comment

Huskers19911
Hope these predictions are wrong, and I expect us to have 7+ wins this year. Hopefully I'm not eating my words in a few weeks... Quote Link to comment
