arkiehusker
Why not put more pressure on Stave at the end? It's almost like the staff refuses to do things that make sense. I know I don't get paid a ton of money to coach, but dang it man!! 1 Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
It's a question that I am wondering. Rushing 4, with our defensive line .. you know they aren't getting there without the blitz. It makes it worse because we were playing soft, giving the WRs a free run off the line. It's like we were doing the opposite of what we should be doing in that situation given that a FG is going to beat us. Quote Link to comment
ZRod
We blitz most of the game and were putting Stave on the ground. Then we all but stopped at the end of the 3rd into the 4th quarter. Wtf... Quote Link to comment

lo country
Because this staff is dumb They play to not lose. They are also a career .536 and winning is not innate to their nature. They are comfortable with moral victories and sadly, use to losing...... People for habits through repetitive actions. Winning is habit forming. So is losing.... We have hired a gentleman comfortable with and probably accepting of losing. 2 Quote Link to comment

Bowfin
How about our defense was dead tired cause our offense sh#t the bed again If the secondary was dead tired, then pressure and blitzes would have helped keep them from having to chase receivers all over the field while Stave waits and waits and waits for the open one. Nebraska's pass coverage is..."not good". Putting an extra one or two guys back there doesn't mitigate that fact, it just adds another layer of "not good". I would rather have Stave trying to deal with Weber or Newby chasing him around rather than Newby or Weber trying to deal with covering Fumagalli. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
Because Banker is stuck in his ways and has no idea why the defense gives up so many points in the 4th quarter compared to others Quote Link to comment
