Mavric
What is the identity of the offense? It’s not the best question, since it’s so vague and identities can change based on personnel. Good coaches recruit what they want, then, if they don’t have all those pieces — as Langsdorf and Riley do not yet — they adjust with what they’ve got. But I thought I’d provide, if you missed them the first time, two answers given by Armstrong on Thursday. “Hard to say,” Armstrong said when asked about the identity. “We just want to get the ball in the guys’ hands — our playmakers, as Coach Langs says. He’s drawing up plays and making sure we understand those the right way. When we run those the right way, we can get the ball in guys’ hands — like (wideouts) Brandon (Reilly) and Jordan (Westerkamp) ... Stanley (Morgan) is back — getting the ball in his hands. Alonzo (Moore). (Derrion) Grim, he’s making steps. They’re doing a great job. That’s the key of our offense — making sure we’re doing our jobs the right way, making sure we’re taking care of the ball, getting the ball in the right guy’s hands and, if it’s not there, check the ball down.” OWH Quote Link to comment

The Dude
I've said this before, but I'll be extremely disappointed if Banker doesn't become a color commentator when he's done coaching. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Banker is kind of funny. I always picture him having a nice house in Lincoln...with no furniture in any of the rooms buy one, a big TV and a ton of Jack's Pizzas in the freezer...and probably some Natty Light. 2 Quote Link to comment
lo country
I've said this before, but I'll be extremely disappointed if Banker doesn't become a color commentator when he's done coaching. He might turn out to be a great DC or a complete bust. Either way, the guy gives some of the best sound bites I have heard. Quote Link to comment
