Huskers Record by Kickoff Time

Recommended Posts

11:00 am starts: 11-7________61%

2:30 starts: 17-8____________68%

Evening/night starts: 13-5_____72%

It's a small sample size. I don't know that kickoff time has an effect on win percentage. I mean, if we'd lost one more evening game (12-6) we'd be at 67%, which is right between the other two stats. :dunno:

At least five guaranteed night games. When's the last time that's happened?

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure 2 years ago

You're right. 2014 had 5 of them, and they were back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back. Before that, 2010, 2009, and 2008 all had 5 as well.

nice. I remember Kenny Bell being a little perturbed by it but I wasnt sure whether it was 2014 or the year before.

I don't disagree with you. Although, I remember Riley this spring making a big deal about addressing the slow starts to their 11AM games last year. He referred to having several conversation with Billy D to illuminate potential issues with their pre-game routines. I guess one answer would be to just schedule mostly afternoon and night games. :cowbell:
