Wisky vs Iowa

Watching this game, I really like out chances to beat them both. If we can get healthy I really, really like our chances. A mobile TA and great play calling form Langs should really pay dividends. Our pass D should shut down either teams passing game. Just need that DL and LB's to show up.

Wiscy isn't very successful in the red zone.

 

They both have pretty good linebackers.

 

Desmond King doesn't look like the Jim Thorpe winner Desmond King? The attempted tackle/strip on the TE, who brushed that off and proceeded to gain another 30yards to setup a fumble into the end zone, was about the most pee poor attempt at a tackle one could witness.

Also, no matter how this game ends up, Nebraska won't benefit if they beat either team - on a respect level. Which is fine.

Since we play both and have Wisky next I figured the Husker thread was a good place.

Defensively I would agree. Offensively, I think when play callings good, is one of the most prolific in the B1G....

I'm hoping we dial up a game plan to put them both in the ground multiple times. I think this year our DB's can hold up much better in man to man coverage and allow more blitzes.

Definitely should blitz both QB's all day.

Wisky isn't unbeatable. This gives NU the chance to bury them ourselves next week.

Health or bad QB play are the only reasons we would lose to either of these teams. There isn't much to be afraid of execpt not executing and both games being on the road. But we have a lot of experienced guys where that "shouldn't' matter as much as it did vs a young tOSU team for example.

It is time to use the Bears 46 defense. Pressure, pressure, pressure! I hope they realize how much Wisky likes to run wide and cut up the field. Hit honrybrook over and over again. If they give him time, he will shred the defense. Banker cant call the usual conservative game.
