I really can't see a great reason to can him unless SE had something great lined up.*

This is in the wheelhouse of my line of thinking.... Getting talented kids here is half of the battle (maybe more than half), and Eichorst will be hard pressed to find someone who can bring in more talent to Nebraska than Miles has over the last couple years. As for the coaching end, Miles is routinely out coached by his counterparts, especially in conference play.

Miles deserves 1 more year. Tournament in 2018, or he should be gone.

Lol... we have not played a hard schedule this year at all... besides Kansas we have played no one really Maybe Dayton or va tech but Va tech is bottom half of Acc right now, not to mention were in the worst p6 conference in America. Our schedule was not top three in the nation. Maybe top100

Yep it must be because of our bad schedule, according to ESPN we are number one. Now I guess it does not have the win against OSU into effect yet we would still sit at number one. Another thing we do not have is we only have two wins against top 25. If we beat Wiscy we are .500 against top 25, not great by any means but good for this program. With a top schedule, if we made the NCAA tournament this might be the best team in Nebraska history, barring any miracle in the B1G tourney, we will not make the NCAA tournament.

The "young" excuse is a lame argument because it goes hand in hand with good recruiting. If you recruit well, you will be playing young guys because the guys you bring in will be good players. So...it is a wash.

The Big Ten is horrible this year...Crean is getting canned...MSU has their worst team in Izzo's career...Iowa is lame...Illinois is down big time...Minny sucks...Rutgers is horrible...this is Matta's worst team since his first year (I think),

Wisconsin is solid and NW is "good" Purdue is about where they normally are or where they have been for the last 10 years or so.

Will NU be better next year? Maybe...they lose their best player.

They lose their best player, who Miles single handledly made into their best player via development. Who says he can't do it with others??????

The "young" excuse is lame but true. Lost their best player last year in Andrew White and have arguably been more competitive. Add Copeland and Palmer next year to the freshman/sophomores and it's at the very least a very intriguing team.

Also lost their best player "Shields"

Hire someone like Jim Boeheim or Rick pitino that is not so soft and cares about the program enough to coach his players on the floor rather than sit there and complain to the refs the whole game

Are you having fun yet - do you have a purpose? As matty stated working the officials is done by 100% of college coaches.
