Had a lot more I intended to say, but started thinking about our talent level vs how we are playing and got frustrated, so I decided to just give praise to JD. 1 Quote Link to comment
FrankWheeler
But why say it now? Why give the impression that the only way our corners could have been any good is if Spielman was playing there? Quote Link to comment

It's just idiotic that the coaches would brainstorm with ideas to fix the problem....mention someone....then decide he's better staying at his current position because he's so good. We should all just be outraged that these things are discussed. Kalu and Jones are better at CB than Jackson and Lee. Kalu and Lee would be better at CB than Jackson and Lee. Jackson should have been the one moved to S. The outrage isn't that they discussed moving JD to CB, it's that they've shown that they have a difficult time properly evaluating talent. 1 Quote Link to comment

Boy...you drew an awful lot from a simple tweet from a reporter that doesn't just have a quote out of context, it doesn't even have the original quote. Quote Link to comment

And, you know for a fact this wasn't all discussed at the same time that they agreed that JD should stay at WR where he is playing very well. Quote Link to comment
FrankWheeler
Which is why I asked earlier if the second part was Riley or Sam. Quote Link to comment

Which is my point about made up outrage over a tweet that we don't even know what part is the quote from the coach? 2 minutes ago, Cdog923 said: Why should they get that benefit of the doubt? FrankWheeler
We knew they weren't moving Kalu back after Jones got hurt. That is when Diaco claimed he would be one of the best safeties in the country. Quote Link to comment

Riley was quoted as saying this in a press conference. You need to see the exact quote to be able to parse his meaning? Quote Link to comment

The move wasn't made and that player is excelling at the position THE COACHES LEFT HIM AT!!!! Pretty much definition of made up outrage. Quote Link to comment

After they've mis-evaluated multiple players at multiple positions? No. Quote Link to comment

FrankWheeler
Just listened to the actual question, agreeing more with Buster now, this was Sam asking if there was any thought to moving him now, immediately shut down by Riley. 1 Quote Link to comment
