I gotcha.

Yeah I really think that it hit Frost about 3/4 of the way through last year that without the physicality, he couldn't just do what he did at UCF and score 50 in conference games. The emphasis on the strength program combined with the speedsters at the skill positions is in my opinion going to take this program to the highest level it could possibly reach in the Big Ten.

You think it took Scott frost 9 games to figure out he couldn't score 50+ points per game in conference?

You need to read more of my posts.

I'm not sure it's necessary.  I don't believe that Frost took what he did at UCF in the AAC and immediately thought he could duplicate the same scoring explosion in year one at Nebraska in the B1G with a depleted roster and then was caught off guard 3/4 of the way into the season when it didn't work.

I’ve posted the first year production stats multiple times and it’s not favorable at all to Big Ten defenses.

Doesn’t every program want strong guys on the line and fast guys in the skill positions?

Texas Tech’s Peak had undersized, quick

lines. Oregon was undersized. Many schools wanted small to be fast. Then they ran into big and fast.

Couple that hat with the ability to snap the ball every 8 seconds.

In Frost's introductory press conference, when asked how he was going to have to modify his system for the B1G he responded, "I think the question is how the Big Ten is going to have to modify their system for us."

In the post-game press conference after Iowa, and this is almost a verbatim quote, Frost said, "I mean no disrespect to Iowa with this comment, but I looked across the 50 yard line at the other team and I couldn't believe that Iowa had a bigger, stronger football team than Nebraska."

Your point about the depleted roster is excellent and none of that is lost on me, and I'm damn sure it wasn't lost on Frost, either. But my overarching point definitely stands.
