They have to figure out how to stop Clark. 5 or 6 years ago, our girls HS team went against our big rival and they had a D1 player they could not stop. They decided they were going to double team her constantly, no matter what. Didnt even let her get a pass. Basically, they made it a 4 on 3 game. But, our team had practiced it and had a game plan. After a while, the D1 player just stood in the corner with two of our players around her. I think we lost at the last second. But, it gave us a chance. I thought it was a brilliant coaching decision. The other 4 of their team didn’t know how to play without her. Probably wouldn’t work at this level. But, Gotta figure out how to guard her with more than one girl. 1 Quote Link to comment
