NU fan in Denver
You can't tell me that of the qb's we've had over the last 15 years, we didn't get another one on the list. Frost, Crouch, hell Lord was a good running qb. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Exactly. I can't believe Tommie was number 2 though. But look at the records, and even stats. Crouch and Frost should be on there for sure. Quote Link to comment
GSG
Knowing these media outlets, they were probably pissed that they HAD to mention at least one Husker. 1990s Husker football = Best running QBs ever. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Thats a pretty good list. But I would definitly put Crouch ahead of Smith, Randal El, King, and a few others. Frost probally doesn't make the list since he only played two years and the first one wasn't exactly spectacular. Quote Link to comment
Huskrz65
Forget all of that fellas, look at the company he is in and ranked #2! A lot of those guys listed play on Sunday. Quote Link to comment
coyeote
That's till a pretty solid list. It appears that these were all QB's that were hard to put a hand on rather than hard to bring down. Frost was hard to bring down but not illusive. Crouch was more illusive and was hard to bring down as well. If the category was for QB's that dish out hits rather than take hits Crouch and Frost would be at or near the top of the list. Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
It is nice to have Tommie on there, but Crouch should be on that list for sure. Quote Link to comment
AgMarauder04
No way Radio is ahead of Frazier. that's pure crap Quote Link to comment
teamriot38
I went to Iowa City when Iowa played Indiana and Randel El was the real deal when it came to a running quarterback. he single handedly kept indiana in the game. Put a offense around him and he may even be top 5. I agree about the Crouch snuff. He should be on there but frost is iffy. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
No way Radio is ahead of Frazier. that's pure crap Are you comparing Vince Young to the mentally handicapped subject of the movie 'Radio'? That's just wrong... Quote Link to comment
AgMarauder04
I still think it;s moderately funny Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
that's a good flick though. He is in really good company, but yes, again Crouch should have been on there Quote Link to comment
TrueHuskerFan
Fraizer was a winner. I'm biased but I think he should have been #1. Crouch would have been on the list if this was 2002, that's just the way it works. Recent memories always make these lists. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
It's not like any of the people other than Young played after Crouch though. Shaun King-before him. Randel El-same time. Woody Danzler-same time. But yeah, Frazier is the best qb in college of all time, how would he not be number 1 in this list? Quote Link to comment
