I think October 8th is going to be electric. First b1g home game against Ohio State no less. Should have the same feel as an OU game. I think it will be loud. Need to get a good start.

We also get some very fine weather in October. Some top 10 days. Hopefully that weekend is a top 10 weekend .

Jonathan Bullard is visiting 10/08/2011.

This news is quite huge.

As expected that weekend is possibly going to be a who's who game. Every kid that is seriously interested in NU will want to be in town on the 8th. Much like the USC game a couple of years ago, let's just hope for a better result.

Brandon Beaver sets OV for 09/09/2011.

is that 100%. rivals reports he hasn't booked a flight yet (being the last step to make it official).

I just looked at his rivals profile and it has the visit date set, if that truely means anything. :dunno

9/9/11? That's a Friday night... is he choosing to skip his HS game that night? I mean, he might play on a Thursday that week, I don't know... and I'm assuming he'll come in Friday night and stay for Saturday's game?

Recruits usually fly in the night before the game/visit.

Also could be his team's bye week

DL/OL Duraron Williams is making a trip to Nebraska for the opener. Not sure if it is an official or unofficial but he's a big Suh fan and really wants a Nebraska offer... He doesn't currently have one.

I wonder how many of the visitors for the OSU game will actually result in commitments since SO many big time prospects will be there....

Same story, different year when it comes to the big home game of the year. The result will carry a lot of weight sadly with a lot of the big time guys. A great performance and a rocking crowd topped by a big win actually creates a mindset for some recruits. The biggest thing with some of these :star guys is who visits with them. Moms and dads=pretty serious look at NU. A buddy or two=hey free trip to a big time game. This was the biggest tell tale sign last year for me with Cyrus Hobbi

Added Quanzell Lambert's visit for the Michigan State game.

It's nice to see Nebraska getting a visit, but my money is on Northwestern for Lambert.

Most importantly, Michael Rose, our ace recruiter

Bingo, the kid has done alot of work. After his football playing days are done he could make a hell of a coach/recruiter.

fuller will also be here for OSU

Fuller's father said as of today no official visit to Nebraska has been set yet.

Someone needs to tell Scout that, they have his OV set for tOSU game. Once again Scout proves its worth.
